Five crews were sent to
Liverpool Victoria RC for their first regatta of the season. It has been a long time since LRGSBC has entered this event and it proved worthwhile with all crews gaining valuable race experience. Their training on the river Lune, thanks to the hard efforts of Mr.Yates and Ciro is paying dividends and they are showing that they are capable of good technical racing over a sprint distance with NW Club Juniors. Two crews raced in finals with the Mens' Novice double scull providing the Club with their first regatta win of the season which is a tremenous bonus to the moral of the Club.

- J15 4x+ JMapp, AFyfe,DHammond,DKingcox, JWatts (cox): lost to Liverpool Victoria RC (1 length) - Semi-final
- J17 2x JHatchman & ASteinert: beat Northwich RC (Murphy) - Semi-final, then lost to Liverpool Victoria RC - Final.
- Nov 2x MAshall & TKane: beat Liverpool Victoria RC (Barr) - Final (Winners of Mens' Novice 2x)
